I really like the way these guys do reviews. Most of the big time food critics in the City have some pretty obvious biases that tend to taint their reviews. I also like the fact that these guys pick restaurants that are other than five-star, exclusive or the flavour of the week.

Well, they do love Joe's cable car burger but, then, who doesn't. Except my husband, who grudgingly admits the meat is acceptible, but find the fries lacking and the price too high to have plastic plates and forks (he may be right there-- burgers are 7+ bucks, and often reach 10 once you add cheese and sides).

I love goign in the day to watch the butcher swiftly trimming the meat-- poetry in motion.
