Warmed pear and gorganzola salad
Peal and slice lengthwise a tart pear ( i like the green ones). saute
in a bit of butter until they get a little soft and just start to get
brown. Put aside to let cool.
Dressing: for a salad that large, i crushed 2 cloves of garlic into the
massive salad bowl, then added extra virgin olive oil, sheesh, a couple
tablespoons maybe? then s&p, (you need more salt than you'd think),
fresh ground black pepper, then balsamic vinegar to taste ( i like a
good amount)
Add your super duper well-washed greens (whatever you like, i used the
bagged triple-washed spinach and the bulk organic greens). top with
cooled pears and as much stinky cheese as you wish (gorgonzola/blue/
goat). Toss well just before serving.
